DESCRIPTION:San Dimas Western Days 2013\n\n	\n\n	Click Here for EVENT FLYER\n\n	 \n\n	Fifty-three ago\, the City of San Dimas was incorporated and soon thereafter\, Western Days was born.  On October 5 and 6\, the 46th rendition of this traditional event will take place in San Dimas' downtown near City Hall\, at the corner of Bonita and Walnut.  New this year\, the City of San Dimas is hosting a kick-off movie in the park night on Friday\, October 4th.  The Western Days Festival is coordinated by the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the City. \n\n	 \n\n	Western Days Festival consists of various activities for the entire family including games and rides for the kids\, live entertainment and over one hundred craft\, businesses\, non-profits and food vendors participating.  The festivities begin on Friday\, October 4\, with a free movie in the park\, at 10 am on Saturday\, October 6\, with a community parade featuring dignitaries\, bands\, historic and custom cars\, floats\, public safety\, businesses\, non-profits\, friends of the dog park and more. The parade will kick off at Gladstone and San Dimas Avenue\, and will go south to Bonita Avenue\, then west to Cataract Avenue. Along with all the other entertainment\, there will country bands and community performances on both Saturday and Sunday and the special Little Miss San Dimas competition on Sunday. \n\n	 \n\n	The Western Days Festival also offers several activities such as the Citrus Label Drawing Contest and a Baking Contest\, which both require early registration and judging before the weekend begins.    \n\n	 \n\n	Don't miss out on this thrilling event. Join the fun and enjoy the activities\, music\, and games.  While some rides and games require a small charge\, all of the other activities\, including live entertainment and parking is free.
