DESCRIPTION:Program Information:\n\nOctober 8\, 2025   12:00 Noon   via Zoom\n\nEmail SanDimasRotary@gmail.com\n\nThe Rotary Club of San Dimas welcomes Ben Jagim\, Co-Founder of Soul Like Fire\, presenting: \n\nRYLA for Adults \n\nDrawing inspiration from the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)\, the two-and-a-half-day program that equips high school juniors and sophomores with leadership skills\, teamwork experience\, and a deeper understanding of Rotary's values. While RYLA is designed to help young people discover and refine their potential\, Jagim will explore how Rotary itself provides many of these same growth opportunities for Rotarians. Through club service\, community projects\, and living out the ideals of the Four-Way Test and Service Above Self\, members develop communication skills\, confidence\, and the ability to lead collaboratively. His presentation will encourage Rotarians to recognize that the personal and professional development sparked in RYLA is mirrored in their own Rotary journey\, and to embrace these opportunities for continuous leadership growth.\n\nEmail SanDimasRotary@gmail.com for Zoom link.\n\nSpeaker Bio\n\n \n\nBen Jagim brings a unique blend of business ownership\, diplomacy\, and leadership training to his work with leaders and teams. He holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs with concentrations in diplomacy and intelligence from Texas A&M. His career spans more than a decade in small business ownership\, account management\, and leadership development.\n\n \n\nBen's expertise includes cross-cultural communication\, high-stakes conflict resolution\, negotiation\, and youth leadership development. His experience teaching English and working with the U.S. State Department in China strengthened his skills in connecting across cultures and navigating complex challenges. Living with hypermobility also taught him the importance of resilience and mindset in overcoming adversity.\n\n \n\nWith a passion for helping others "burn bright\, not out\," Ben equips leaders to build the trust that inspires action and unlocks potential.
