SUMMARY:TreePeople: Building Greener\, Healthier Communities
DESCRIPTION:TreePeople: Building Greener\, Healthier Communities\n\n\n\nThe Rotary Club of San Dimas welcomes Nour Rajha of TreePeople as our featured speaker on Wednesday\, November 4\, 2026\, at 12:00 noon via Zoom. TreePeople is a Southern California nonprofit organization dedicated to creating greener\, healthier and more climate-resilient communities.\n\nNour is a former Interact member and recipient of a Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest scholarship while attending University Preparatory High School in Victorville\, California. During her service\, she supported grant programs and wildfire relief efforts\, eventually advancing to the position of crew leader.\n\n\n\nCurrently an environmental science student\, Nour is pursuing her interests in forestry\, wildlife biology and ecology. Through partnerships with residents\, schools and local organizations\, TreePeople demonstrates how practical\, nature-based solutions can improve neighborhoods and protect natural resources for future generations.\n\nDuring her Rotary presentation\, Nour will introduce TreePeople's mission and its work in the San Gabriel Valley. She will be joined by teammates Percy and Francisco\, who will provide additional perspectives and answer questions about the organization's programs.\n\n\n\nEmail SanDimasRotary@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
