Each Rotary club is empowered to design their own membership types, plus they retain the ability to form a Satellite or Companion club.”
Rich Salon is a distinguished member of the Rotary Club of Goochland County in District 7600. With eight years of dedicated service to Rotary, Rich currently holds the esteemed position of Area 18 Governor for the fourth consecutive year. Additionally, he serves as the Innovative Club Advocate for District 7600 and the Innovative Member Pathways Advocate for Zone 33, spanning from Pennsylvania to South Carolina.
Rich's commitment to Rotary has been recognized through various accolades, including Rotary's prestigious "People of Action Award." Inspired by Rotary's ethos, Rich aspires to become a "Wish-Granter" for adults facing terminal illnesses upon retirement.
Beyond his Rotary endeavors, Rich is a seasoned Human Resources leader, affectionately known as "Rich-the-HR-Guy." He leverages his expertise to enhance the employee experience across organizations, regardless of hierarchy. Moreover, Rich extends his passion for empowering individuals by serving as a Career Transition Coach, guiding professionals nationwide towards their desired career paths.
