Online Webinar Tuesday, July 8th at 2pm features presentation by human resources expert Thomas Lenz of AALRR

 

PASADENA, CA-  Join the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and six collaborating Chambers on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 2pm. Thomas Lenz, a partner with the law firm Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud and Romo and an expert on human resources will be discussing the Ins and Outs of Having Employees: Dos, Don’ts, Land Mines and Red Flags.

Thomas Lenz is a recognized authority on labor and employment law and all issues pertaining to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).  He advises, trains, and represents employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters.  Since beginning his career at the NLRB, and in over 30 years with the firm, Mr. Lenz has worked with a variety of clients and industries across California and regularly in other states.

 

Mr. Lenz is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.  He is an advisor and former Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the California Lawyers Association (CLA), formerly the State Bar of California.  He currently Chairs CLA’s Civics Education and Outreach Committee.  In 2023, Mr. Lenz was named a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a national organization for leading labor and employment attorneys.  He has been honored as one of the Top One Hundred Labor Attorneys in the United States by Labor Relations Institute, Inc.

The Valley Area Chamber Executives (VACE) is an informal group made up of the staff leadership of Chambers of Commerce from throughout the San Gabriel Valley. VACE meets monthly to discuss issues of mutual concern. They collaborate on regional mixers and showcase events. They also support each other with ideas and assistance. Their meeting are often focused on brainstorming ideas to enhancing the Chamber experience for members. Collaborating on the Biz Boost webinar series are Chambers from Altadena, El Monte/South El Monte, San Dimas, Pasadena, Rosemead and the Regional Chamber of the San Gabriel Valley.

 

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association is a professional business organization.
